If we couldn't laugh, we would all go insane. - Jimmy Buffett

Hi! I am a wife, mother, friend, humor columnist, online retailer, aspiring novelist, and pumpkin farmer... a woman who is trying to do ten things at once, but only succeeding at about half of them!

"Marti Lawrence’s book, Queen Klutz, is a laugh riot! It’s a great break from the ordinary trash we deal with all day, every day. This woman’s sense of humor gives me a lift on a daily basis. I know I can hop over to her blog and leave with a grin."
~Yvonne DiVita
Marti is a columnist who simply amazed me. This is some lady and she is more funny than most stand up comics! LOL! Oh yes, Buzzable and Buzzalicious!
~ BuzelleIn self-deprecating humor, Lawrence highlights mishaps in short chapters with titles such as “DMV - Or Diarrheal Mahatma Voodoo" and "The Two Thousand Dollar French Fry - E-Bay auction". Famous quotations nicely punctuate each chapter's ending. From her collection of newspaper essays, Lawrence will delight readers with hilarious prose. Read Queen Klutz and find your new best friend – one who reminds you life's adventures can be funny.
~ Jennifer at MyShelf.comThis book snared me and kept me reading until the very last page!
~ Writer’s BuzzThis is an enjoyable book--fast-paced, engaging, and full of intrigue!

Yep, I’ve been to the point of wanting to yell and scream….then again being a jester too to make them laugh.
Now, you said “What having children can do to you”….is this also a drawing that one of your children made?
Either case, love the photo.
Thanks for dropping by my W W today

LOL! No, I just took the famous “Scream” painting and horribly defiled it by pasting on my little icon’s hat.
My youngens have just about driven me to insanity the last few days (weeks LOL) and it made me, who is usually the jester, want to scream - LOL!
Thanks for stopping by!

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!!! And it doesn’t have to be youngens either. My are 21 and 19 and still drive me crazy sometimes.
Love your take on the Scream. My WW is up.

That picture speaks volumes!
How do kids manage to age us so?
I suppose our kids would say that WE make THEM look and feel like that photo too.
That’s our job!

Marti!! *knock* *knock* *knock*
Yoo hoo! Are ya in there? Hello??
I’m now worried that daughter has dyed her hair some new unnatural shade and that you are in some sort of shock related coma now.
July 14th, 2006 at 11:20 pm
Aww, God bless ya darlin’.
I been feelin’ bad about my complainin’.
A classmate of my daughter’s was killed in a car accident. Nothin’ will make you more grateful that your own are still breathin’, and less concerned about silly things like hair color, than a 16 year-old’s funeral.
